About us

Our mission is to inspire a love for nature and promote sustainable living through active community engagement and educational outreach.

Situated along the beautiful coast and the historic path to Seafield Tower, our primary activities take place at the stunning Seafield Beach. Over the years, we have dedicated ourselves to transforming this local treasure. Our efforts include regular beach clean-ups and the introduction of amenities such as a picnic park, an information board that provides updates on water quality and tides, and initiatives to enhance local biodiversity.

Thanks to the hard work of our volunteers and the support of our community, Seafield Beach has proudly received multiple Beach Awards from Keep Scotland Beautiful since 2018. These accolades reflect our commitment to maintaining the beauty and health of our coastal environment.

As we look to the future, we are excited to announce the launch of our new website in early 2025. This platform will serve as a central hub for all our activities and initiatives, featuring up-to-date information on our projects, upcoming events, and opportunities for community involvement.

Thank you for your continued support and dedication to Seafield Environmental Group. Explore our site to learn more about how you can make a difference with us!

hIGHLIGHT OF THE MONTH

Great news! 🎉 We’ve successfully secured our pitch for the water sports hub! 🌊🏄‍♀️ We’re so grateful for the incredible support from everyone who stood by us along the way. 🙏 Your encouragement has been invaluable. 💙

Now, we’re moving forward with obtaining the necessary permits 📝 to bring this exciting project to life. If all goes as planned, we aim to have the hub ready to welcome visitors by this summer! ☀️⛵ Exciting times ahead—stay tuned for updates! 🚀✨

🌊 Support our Water Sports Hub at Seafield Beach! Sustainability: The 100 Species Project 🏄‍♀️

To all our outstanding members, volunteers, followers, and supporters, we need your vote this Saturday, 15th March, from 10 AM to 4 PM to make our water sports hub at Seafield Beach a reality!

🌟 Why a Water Sports Hub?
“Creating a water sports hub will promote health, fitness, and mental well-being for both young people and adults. It will provide equipment and training programs, fostering community engagement, social connections, and a healthy lifestyle for everyone.”
We’ve seen a growing number of people swimming at Seafield Beach. However, unlike neighbouring towns, we currently don’t have water activities outdoor for our community at Seafield Beach during summer. This project will change that, bringing much-needed summer activities to our beautiful beach.

🌴 Why Seafield Beach?
Not everyone has the chance to go abroad. Luckily, we have Seafield Beach right on our doorstep! This hub would provide affordable, accessible activities—particularly for young people—encouraging them to try something new and develop a lifelong passion for water sports. Plus, it’s a fantastic way to boost physical and mental health for our entire community.
Let’s make this happen together! 🗳️ Cast your vote this Saturday 15 March at Adam Smith Theatre 10AM – 4PM, and help us create a space that brings joy, health, and connection to our local community.
